I try not to follow any specific diet- Vegan, Vegetarian, Paleo, gluten free, low carb, keto, etc. In my house we are definitely mindful about what we eat, so we can enjoy our favorite meals and desserts.
I stay active- whether it's going on a run, hitting the gym, or creating a HIIT workout at home. If I go longer than 3 days without a workout, I won’t feel myself.
I enjoy reading Cookbooks- This is how I get ideas. Especially from chefs that inspire me. I used to buy random ones when I was younger. Now I get specific books that inspire my love for the cuisine or just because I love what they stand for.
Music lifts my soul. When I’m on my way to work, cooking in the kitchen, cleaning, or relaxing; music is what motivates and just keeps me productive.
I love being a tia (auntie)!! I come from a large family, ten of us total (5 brothers and 2 sisters). All biological. Currently, have 10 nieces and nephews. Another role I have is trying to be the best tia I can be. Even if my nephew, Mandito, asks me to make chocolate chip cookies, I’m on it, ASAP.
