Anytime I want to eat a guilt free dessert, I always aim for anything made with almond flour and of course, make those refined sugar swaps.
If you are a chocolate lover, you'll love these. It has that fudgy, chocolate texture that you're looking for in a brownie. I am definitely a big fan of fudgy brownies, so it took me a couple recipe tests to get them right!
These are gluten and dairy free.
Brownies that you can enjoy and feel guilt free!
Almond Flour Brownies
Dry Ingredients
1 cup almond flour
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp kosher salt
Wet Ingredients
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅓ cup grade A maple syrup or honey
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
½ cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Prepare a square baking dish (6” or 9”) by spraying non stick spray or lightly brush coconut oil in the pan.
In a medium size bowl mix the dry ingredients: almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside
In a small bowl whisk together eggs, vanilla extract and maple syrup and pour into the dry ingredients. Next, add in the melted coconut oil and mix.
Finally, fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour into the baking dish and bake for 18-20 minutes. Until the toothpick comes out clean.
Note: You can add more chocolate chips, walnuts, ground flax seed(fiber addition), chia, etc.
For a larger batch of brownies, double the recipe and bake in a rectangle baking dish.
