This is such a decadent cookie. If you love oreos and cheesecake, you will love this recipe! My family loves both, so a mixture of both is to die for. These cookies are creamy and so soft in the center. They are dangerously addictive. A perfect dessert for any family or friend gathering.
Oreo Cheesecake Cookies
Ingredients
2 ½ cups all purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp kosher salt
4 tbsp butter, salted or unsalted, room temperature
1 package (8oz) cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
18 oreos, crushed
½ cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium size mixing bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Using a stand or hand mixer, cream the butter, cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the egg, vanilla extract, continue mixing until it comes together.
Slowly mix the flour mixture into the wet mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed oreos until it's evenly distributed in the cookie dough.
Scoop the dough into even size balls and bake for about 12-14 minutes. Let them cool and enjoy.
