Creamy Coleslaw

This is just about one of the classic sides to have

with bbq ribs, sausage links, grilled chicken, smoked brisket, and more!!

Super simple recipe

This coleslaw was served in the the slow cooker bbq pulled pork sandwiches!

Swapped out a full cup of mayo with half cup of plain greek yogurt and half a cup of mayo and agave sweetener instead of regular sugar.

ColeSlaw

Yield: About 15 servings


Ingredients

  • Quarter shredded purple cabbage (1 ½ cups)

  • Half head shredded green cabbage (3 cups)

  • 4 carrots shredded (1 ½ cup)

  • ⅓ cup chopped parsley

  • ½ cup light mayo

  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt

  • 2 tbsp white vinegar

  • 3 tbsp agave sweetener

  • ¼ tsp fresh cracked pepper

  • ½ tsp kosher salt

  • ½ tsp celery seed or celery salt


Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, and parsley.

  2. In a separate small mixing bowl, combine the greek yogurt, mayo, vinegar, agave, salt, pepper and celery seed.

  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and mix until all combined.

  4. Allow to chill in the refrigerator in a large family style bowl for a couple of hours before serving.
